On September 11, 2001 (9/11), nineteen terrorists allied with Al-Qaeda, hijacked four jet airlines. Each group of hijackers
consisted of a trained pilot. The hijackers purposely wanted to crash into some of the most populated buildings of the U.S.,
but only three of their four attempts was successful. United Airlines Flight 175 and American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into
each of both buildings of the World Trade Center, causing a downfall of the buildings and damage to other nerby buildings.
Hijackers on American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon in Arlington County, Virginia, causing heavy damage as
well. On the United Airlines Flight 93, hijackers failed to complete their damage to another building. Passangers and members
of the flight crew stopped them from succeeding by trying to take control of the plane. This lead to the crashing in a field
near Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Having all of this done, sadly, 2,973 people died, including the nineteen hijackers.
